Dr. Stinner, an insect ecologist and modeler, graduated from the University of California at Berkley, having studied under Profs. Carl Huffaker and Robert van den Bosch. He currently serves as Director of the NSF Center for Integrated Pest Management and the Southern Region IPM Center. He works closely with many federal agencies on issues of pest management and biosecurity. The NSF Center for IPM currently manages over $4 million is grant funds annually with a staff of 32.
Dr. Stinner's current interests include pest management priority establishment, IPM database online access, invasive species, and biosecurity information.
