Join the International Association for the Plant Protection Sciences (IAPPS)
The journal Crop Protection is the Official Journal of the International Association for the Plant Protection Sciences (IAPPS). IAPPS was established in 1999 by the Standing Committee of the International Plant Protection Congresses in recognition of the need for improved integration of and greater emphasis on plant protection programs.
Diseases, weeds and insects limit potential production of the world's major food and cash crops by an estimated 40+ percent (Oerke, et al, 1994). With a predicted world population increase of 2 billion by 2025, what better way to provide for their food and fiber needs than through improved crop protection programs? IAPPS is a global network committed to enhanced communication and integration of the plant protection sciences. Annual individual memberships are $50 for scientists from developed countries and $35 for scientists from developing countries.
